Spring update

Snap peas

We’ve had a fair amount of wet weather over the last few weeks, which has been much appreciated by the seedlings at the farm. Everything is looking great! The rows of greens were ready to be thinned this week, and the irises on the hill are a sight to see.

As we get into late spring, we are getting close to completing our main planting, thanks in part to the annual GreenBridge plant giveaway where we obtained cucumbers, zucchini, sweet and hot peppers, and lots of grape tomatoes. We have more tomato seedlings to plant soon and will sow a few more cucumbers and beans. As the temperatures warm and the sun hides a bit less, we should see everything really come alive.
