Please join Big Reuse, the D39 Tree Care Team, Council Member Shahana Hanif’s Office, Field Form, and Prospect Farm for a couple hours of street tree care. Big Reuse will provide a brief tutorial on street tree care essentials, and the benefits of compost application. Also, our friends from Field Form will share information about the use of biochar in soil amendment for tree health. Then, we will fan out in teams to freshen up the tree beds by picking up garbage, weeding, cultivating soil, and applying compost on Prospect Avenue and neighboring side streets. All supplies are provided. All ages are welcome.
